A friend and I were talking a couple of weeks ago about Halloween when she brought up coloured contacts. I'd never really considered wearing them before because the idea of putting them in freaked me out! But after watching a few youtube video's on how to insert and remove them I felt a little better about them! So I started searching for sellers in the UK and came across this site: http://www.beautifeye.co.uk/
I checked out a few other sites but this seemed the best because they include free delivery within the UK (but they do sell internationally), a free bottle of cleaning solution and a free storage case with every order. Most other sites make you buy this separately and only give you free delivery if you spend over a certain amount. The delivery is so fast, they dispatch within the same day and it is delivered via royal mail first class.
Anyway I spent FOREVER searching for the right contacts and finally decided on these:

I did question what they would look like on my eyes, being so dark, and had a feeling they would look nothing like the middle picture! But I bought them anyway because they're so pretty!
when they arrived I went straight ahead and opened them and put them into the storage case with the cleaning solution. I made sure my hands were clean and then I attempted putting them in! It took me a long time but I finally got there! I was a bit gutted they weren't more noticeable but I do love them! You can tell with a camera flash, but then they make my eyes look a little off haha! Anyway these are a few pictures I've taken, the first is of how my eyes normally are with no contacts with my webcam, and then a webcam photo of the contact lenses in the day when I first got them and another webcam photo of a quick practice of 'big eye' make-up:
This is how dark my eyes are naturally, almost black!
And even without the makeup making my eyes look bigger, I can tell they do have the 'big eye' effect.
Anyway, the more I try them in, the more I love them! I just wish they were the teeniest bit lighter in my eyes! I would definitely recommend these contacts and they're definitely the best site I've come across for ordering contacts from online!!
My Rating:
Comfort: 9/10 - With these being the first contacts I've ever tried, and considering I was so terrified of trying them, they're a LOT more comfortable than I expected them to be! I could definitely wear these for a few hours at a time without them bothering me.

Design and colour: 7/10 - These are really beautiful, but would be more suited to lighter eyes. The design is really pretty, and quite natural looking, I just wish they were a little more opaque.
Overall: 8/10 - Mainly my issues with how much my dark eyes show through them, otherwise they're wonderful!
If you have tried any contacts from the ColourVue Big Eye Contacts range, be sure to leave a link so I can check out yours too! :)
